I should be thinking about tomorrow’s interview but I’m still not, instead I’m looking at Teaching English in Paris and the job ads in Fusac.

As great a system as Eurostar may well be it annoys me that you have to say goodbye to someone half an hour before they actually leave, would it kill them to let me through for a proper goodbye??
The Garden of England is beautiful right now in the glorious sunshine we’ve had for the last week and there’s nothing better than sharing it with someone as perfect as I did for who it’s a new sight.
Seeing things with someone who hasn’t seen them before, I think, also gives you a fresh perspective on them. Be it the ruins of St Augustine’s Abbey or merely those out at Westwell, looking at them with someone who hasn’t seen these, to me, familiar sites before, made them somehow alive with interest again.
I wonder if it were for same for her while showing me around Paris. I am aware that I have still to write in detail about that trip and I will, the problem is that it’s hard to find adequate vocabulary to describe such a life changing 8 days.
As for now I am no longer in those wide open, tan inducingly sunny, spaces I was in this weekend. My mind, however, is. Instead of thinking ahead to the interview I have tomorrow my mind is back on the beach on Friday watching my beauty as she succumbs to temptation and puts her feet into the English Channel, instead of thinking of answers to questions I’ll likely be asked I’m picturing her eyes darting through cd and record titles at the record fair in Canterbury on Saturday. I believe in the animal kingdom it’s called pining.
